Brys Chocolate Lamb Chili

Chocolate and lamb in chili? Of Course!!! This is a wonderful chili recipe, concocted by my son Bryan. We use Icelandic lamb because it is really lean. Lean lamb is a must.

Step: 1

In a large pot, cook onions and ground lamb in olive oil over medium heat.

Step: 2

When onions are soft and meat browned, season with red pepper flakes, basil, cumin, cinnamon, garlic, chili powder, dried oregano, cocoa powder, sugar, and bay leaf, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 1 or 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and beans. Increase heat to bring soup to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.

The name of “stew” can refer to both a food and a make dishes method. Stewing involves slowly cooking chunks of meat, raw fruit or beans in a flavorful water based . It’s same as to braising, instead it does have a few piece of differences. The meat is chopped into smaller pieces instead of being processing menu all of it , and the water based material completely covers the contents in a stew as compared to a braise’s halfway full . When meat or raw fruit are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.

Stew has a perception for making a rib-sticking meal that comfortable you up on a cold , winter day. It’s true ; a bowl of classic beef stew does have warming featured food , but stew’s comfort factor more than a way beyond preserving you from the cold . It’s all about those soft and chunks of food and vegetables, swimming in a thick, ultra-rich gravy. The more they come together make the greatest comfort food, no matter the weather.
