Cheddar Bratwurst Stew

A wonderfully simple, hearty stew is great on a winter’s afternoon!

Place bratwurst sausages, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, bell pepper, onion, red potatoes, Cheddar cheese, and water in a slow cooker. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook on High until potatoes are tender, about 3 hours.

The word “stew” can refer to both a dish and a cooking method. Stewing involves slowly cooking piece of meat, raw fruit or beans in a flavorful water based . It’s same as to braising, but it does have a few notable differences. The raw animal vested is chopped into few of pieces but of being cooked all of it , and the water based material all of it covers the contents in a stew as compared to a braise’s halfway all of it . When meat or raw fruit are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.
