Chicken Jambalaya II

Easy meal to prepare. Can feed my family of 6 easily.

INGRIDIENT

Step: 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onions and peppers for 5 minutes.

Step: 2

Pour in 1/4 cup of water and add chicken. Cook 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked.

Step: 3

To the chicken add the tomatoes, with juice, remaining water, garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder. Simmer 5 minutes.

Step: 4

Stir in rice, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Mix well and serve.

The meat is chopped into smaller pieces but of being cooked all of it , and the water based material all of it covers the contents in a stew as compared to a braise’s halfway full . When meat or raw fruit are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.

Stew has a perception for being a rib-sticking meal that warms you up on a freezing , winter day. It’s right that ; a bowl of classic beef stew can make warming featured food , but stew’s cozy factor goes way beyond protecting you from the cold . It’s all about those tender chunks of food and vegetables, swimming in a thick, ultra-rich gravy. The more they come together make the ultimate comfort food, no matter the weather.
