Chorizo Chili

I was going to attempt a chili recipe I got from a friend and discovered I had none of the ingredients. I already had my meats thawed and was set on chili for dinner, so I took what I had in my pantry and went with it. It’s a big hit in my house now.

Step: 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir onion and garlic in hot oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir ground beef and chorizo sausage into onion mixture; cook, breaking meat apart while stirring, until no longer pink, 10 to 15 minutes.

Step: 2

Mix ground beef-chorizo mixture, diced tomatoes, chili, butter beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, chipotle seasoning blend, salt, and black pepper in a slow cooker.

Step: 3

Cook on High until flavors have blended, 3 to 4 hours.

The name of “stew” can refer to both a food and a make dishes method. Stewing involves slowly cooking chunks of meat, vegetables or beans in a tastefull water based . It’s same as to braising, instead it does have a few piece of differences. The raw animal vested is chopped into few of pieces but of being cooked all of it , and the liquid all of it covers the contents in a stew as compared to a braise’s halfway all of it . When meat or raw fruit are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.

Stew has a perception for making a rib-sticking eating process that comfortable you up on a cold , winter day. It’s true ; a bowl of classic beef stew does have warming featured food , but stew’s comfort factor goes way beyond preserving you from the cold . It’s all about those soft and chunks of meat and vegetables, swimming in a thick, ultra-rich gravy. The way they come together make the greatest comfort food, no matter the weather.
