Kale Soup Plus

Unable to find a recipe for kale using what ingredients I had on hand, I decided to be creative. Amazingly, it was delicious! I didn’t use any salt or pepper and yet the taste was not at all bland. The kale was very tender but not soupy. This will definitely be a go-to recipe for kale.

Step: 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir onion and garlic in hot oil until onion is softened, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir potatoes into onion mixture and cook until potatoes are lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.

Step: 2

Stir kale into potato mixture and drizzle in sesame oil. Cook and stir until kale is wilted, about 2 minutes. Stir black beans and sun-dried tomatoes into kale-potato mixture; pour in chicken broth. Simmer soup until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.

The name of “stew” can process to both a dish and a cooking method. Stewing makes not fast cooking chunks of meat, vegetables or beans in a flavorful water based . It’s similar to braising, instead it makes have a few notable differences. The raw animal vested is chopped into smaller pieces instead of being processing menu all of it , and the water based material completely covers the essential in a stew as different to a braise’s halfway full . When meat or vegetables are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.

Stew has a reputation for being a rib-sticking meal that warms you up on a freezing , winter day. It’s right that ; a bowl of old menu of beef stew does have warming properties , but stew’s cozy factor more than a way beyond preserving you from the chill . It’s all about those tender chunks of food and vegetables, swimming in a thick, ultra-rich gravy. The more they come together creates the ultimate comfort food, no matter the weather.
