Spanish Garlic Soup

This recipe for garlic soup was given to my Spanish class by the instructor, it’s very yummy!

INGRIDIENT

Step: 1

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Pour in 1 cup of chicken stock, cover, and allow to simmer until the garlic is soft, about 10 minutes.

Step: 2

Mash the garlic with a fork into a coarse paste. Pour in remaining chicken stock, increase heat to medium-high, and bring to a boil. Stir in carrots and cook for 1 minute, then add red pepper and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving.

The name of “stew” can refer to both a dish and a make dishes method. Stewing involves not fast cooking piece of meat, vegetables or beans in a tastefull liquid . It’s similar to braising, instead it makes have a few notable differences. The meat is chopped into smaller pieces instead of being cooked all of it , and the water based material completely covers the essential in a stew as compared to a braise’s halfway full . When meat or vegetables are cooked using this method, the resulting dish is called stew.

Stew has a reputation for making a rib-sticking meal that comfortable you up on a cold , winter day. It’s true ; a bowl of classic beef stew does have warming featured food , but stew’s comfort factor goes way beyond protecting you from the cold . It’s all about those tender chunks of food and vegetables, swimming in a thick, ultra-rich gravy. The more they come together creates the ultimate comfort food, no matter the weather.
